Welcome back to Tronic Projects For You. Today we are going to discuss how to use Autodesk Tinkercad for your circuit development and simulations. Tinkercad is a good tool available online for simulate several electronic components and it is free to do your work.
Tinkercad is a 100% online platform 3D Designing, Electronics and Coding. Most of the main components and some micro controllers with the ability of write programs and simulate. Also another feature in this app is if you don't have any kind of programming knowledge, you can generate the code by using the blocks of command.
Lets get in to work.
First go to https://www.tinkercad.com/
The above web site will open. You have to Sign Up for the app now. Click on the Sign Up button
Select signup option Create a personal account.
Then select sign up method as you wish and follow the on screen instructions. (I recommend use sign in options with Google or Apple account.
If you already registered, use Log In button instead of Sign Up in the First Step.
Zoom To Fit - This will adjust the zoom level of the circuit to fit the screen
Copy - Copy the component or selection
Paste - Past the copied items.
Delete - Delete the selected component or selection.
Undo - Reverse your last action.
Redo - Reverse the last Undo action
Add Note - Add a note to the circuit
View Hide Notes - Hide added notes and unhide notes
Wire Color - Set the wire color of the wire path.
Wire Type - How to connect the wire to componentsRotate - Rotate the selected component by 30 degree angle in clockwise direction.Components
Basic - Only Basic Components will show
All - All components will show in a grouped manner.
Starters - The pre assembled circuits with all components and programmed micro controllers will help to start your work and get some knowledge on how to work with tinkercad platform.
Component View - There are 2 views
- It's simple. Fist click on the component need to add.
- Now click the place where the component need to be placed.
- Click on the component pin or wire connection place and the wire may start to draw. Click on the places where the wire needed to be bend and click on the destination point of the wire.
